Confirming last night's leak, Capcom officially announced the release dates for Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix today. The Xbox 360 version will indeed be hitting on Wednesday, November 26, but the PlayStation 3 will be getting it a day early on November 25. Though PlayStation Network updates tend to happen on Thursdays, next week is Thanksgiving, so the date was arranged for Tuesday instead. Capcom has dubbed this the "Season of Street Fighter" to celebrate the release, and announced that several pieces of themed, console-specific downloadable content will be coming to mark the event.

On the 360, the first piece of DLC is a Street Fighter pack for Pinball FX, which adds a SF-themed pinball table to the game. The pinball table is available for download today. On December 10 we'll see a downloadable card pack for Uno that will add "power moves" to the deck along with Street Fighter backgrounds and music.

For the PS3, Capcom hints that a "little" surprise is coming to the PlayStation Network later this year, possibly hinting at a Little Big Planet costume. And to satisfy fans of music from the series, Capcom gives word that it will be releasing a free downloadable Street Fighter-inspired hip-hop album to the PlayStation Network. Featured artists include DJ Qbert, Hieroglyphics, Redman, Oh No, DJ Toure, Mistah FAB, and Zion I.
